I just read the 3rd story in this anthology called Soul girls by Heather Long, I was instantly grabbed up in the first Chapter and did not put it down until I finished the last word. I would recommend this to any one.

The line that hooked me was "Welcome to our circus of the Sinister, sideshow of the Strange, and the theater of the bizarre. Come into our realm of dark wonder, and let us engage you in your wickedest dreams. Come, dare to dance in our shadows."

Soul girls by Heather Long was great. I would really love to hear more about some of the characters, especially Fairuk, Marcus, and Roseatre. My favorite line in the story was "Destiny doesn't like to be messed with, and the House doesn't always win." How great is that! :)

Overall the whole anthology was great and I do recommend.

Genies, Vampires and Werewolves...what more could you want? This anthology has it all.
Set at the Arcana Royale on the glamorous Las Vegas strip, these three stories combine suspense and romance in a paranormal view of Las Vegas today.
Definitely worth the read!

Howl by Lisa Pietsch

Ean Hemming and Rhiannon Quinn both dream of the time they spent in Germany that short winter so many years ago. They found each other but did not trust their instincts and didn't think they could trust the other with the true reason they were in the Europe. After years of pinning for a memory, fate brings them to the Arcana Royale Casino. Only if they would stop believing in ghosts and trust their senses.

I enjoyed the back story of this tale. Ean’s presence demands attentio

National bestselling author Heather Long likes long walks in the park, science fiction, superheroes, Marines, and men who aren’t douche bags. She writes snarky women tangled in romance as hot as Texas summertime. From paranormal historical westerns to contemporary military romance, Heather might switch genres, but one thing is true in all of her stories—the characters drive the books. When she’s n ...more
