I wanted to wait to review this book until I had used it a fair amount and could share how much it helped (or didn't help me). One of the first things that stands out is how big of a book it is. This really covers a large range of topics and styles of manga. That is impressive, especially considering it is Shoujo which from what I understand is basically manga targeted towards high school girls. Shelves: how-to
This was an easy to use guide. You can PROBABLY use it without having used Manga for the Beginner, but I wouldn't recommend it. It is mostly characters.
