Another book I've had for a long time...and another fail. (Maybe I'm letting them over-ripen? :P)

Feversham isn't poorly written, but it suffers from a really slow opening 40+ pages. By the time the fringes of the primary thread began to appear (somewhere circa pg 70), I'd lost interest & started skimming.

In the interest of fairness, I read the last chapter -- and was glad I didn't slog through the middle, because my first thought was "And the point of that was...?" Certainly I'm not opposed
