Oh boy! This is titled At Last and all I can think is, AT LAST I have finished this novel. It took some time and while it is under 200 pages, it dragged out like it was never going to end. There was the urban spelling but my gosh, it was annoying after a while. In my reviews I rarely edit them, reread them or anything before I hit the "finished" button but this author needs an editor. I found a little over 50 obvious mistakes that I wanted to mark, however, there was more.

Yeah so here's the deal... this was a nice quick read, I think the problem that I have is that the Keisha never seemed to take time to figure out exactly who the hell she was... Honestly it felt relationship hopping. I think for the first time ever... I actually wanted to character to take a year off to really figure things out.

Nevertheless overall nice read... still didn't really get a full explanation as what really happened in the truck with Ingrid... I mean it was sorta explained "I wou

For a FREEBIE, I can't really complain. This book was extremely realistic as Keisha goes from one relationship to another. After about a 1/3 of the way in I was liking the story more. In the beginning the "ghetto" language was so overdone and at times a bit offensive. Over time it seemed to even out. This is definitely a work of Urban Fiction and I won't lie at times I expected Madea to pop out and start praising Jesus or at the very least chase someone around with a shot gun.

It was an okay rea

It's On and Popping

Keisha is a woman who's so in love with being in love that she doesn't love herself. Durran loves himself so much that he's incapable of loving anyone else. Being at the right place at the right time, Durran played on Keisha's emotions. She accepts his marriage proposal despite the reservations she is having and moves to Atlanta. After a while, she accepts the fact that the wedding will never take place. Having to start over, she discovers love in the last expected place.

This was such a realistic story. The struggles Keshia went through trying to find Mr. Right, was very relate-able. Poor Justin was crazy. It is so hard to help a person with bipolar disease, because they usually resent having to take medication or they hate the way the medication makes them feel. Justin symptoms sounded a like schizophrenia, due to the voices. I truly felt bad for Keshia and him, Durran was a little crazy-ish too, in my opinion. Cliff was a keeper, although I had doubts about hi ...more

Oh my, Oh wow...... What a great book. Keisha had but one true love who for a lack of maturity just could not/would not remain faithful to her. After one of their splits she meets and gets pregnant by a young man who suffers from mental illness... and that where the drama begins. This book is about love , loss and renewal of hope an faith. Keisha wants what all of us want some one to love her unconditionally. Does she find that special someone or is she does she spend her life looking for mister ...more

I really need to read part two. I totally and completely loved this book and can't wait to read part two. I would have never guessed it would turn out the way it is in the sequel. Well I'm off to find part two. Happy reading!!!

This book was ok, good enough to finish and still want to read the sequel to it. It had me crying at the beginning and not just a tear(sobbing) so that's what got me hooked and as much as I love books to have reality in them....sometimes, I like to get lost in fiction, but this book was all real life, it's like a movie I've seen before w/women getting cheated on, beat on, and just feeling powerless. So I guess it just hit really close to home and that's the only part I didn't like.
