I am on a quest to find this book (without ordering on line), and when I find it, I will renounce all others and
impart upon its bearer truth of the first water and my lucky lucky stone.

Amazing prose written by a poet, insights on every aspect of life. One of my new favorites.

a great essay by the Polish poet, of his student years in Krakow, spliced with wonderful aphorisms and observations on poetry, spirituality, Stalinist dictatorship, and art.
Beautiful writing, but too disjointed to create a whole storyline. I got through about half before I gave up.
