This is a novel by Jo Wharton Heath who is a Professor of Mathematics Emerita, in the field of Topology, and a former Associate Dean of the Graduate School, at Auburn University. Dr. Heath has authored many papers that have been published in mathematics journals. She also has had one short story, "The Invisibles," published in the Southern Women's Review. This is her first published novel.

Sarah's Alice touches on the themes of spousal abuse and fundamentalist religion run amok. It is a study of
