Before going on my 1st visit to Hawaii, I searched for mystery books that took place on the islands or on a cruise ship. This had both! It's a cute romp with a Nancy-Drew type heroine, and I enjoyed the young perspective. I followed her trip that paralleled my own almost identically. It had to be the same ship, with a fictitious name; details of the decor, crew, deck arrangements, even the entertainers matched. She and her aunt went on the same excursions on the same islands. I think this book is really nice. It has a great summer-y vibe into it and the writing is very meticulous and descriptive. I feel quite envious of the main character for having such a great adventure! This was quite a great read!
