A great book for boys!
After being introduced to The Great Brain by a teacher reading it in class, I read this entire series a few times as a middle schooler. The stories are wonderfully funny.
On caution: the family featured is Catholic. This does not play a large role in the plot or characters. However, parents should be prepared for questions if the child reading is not Catholic.

A great series about kids making money out West in times much simpler than this. And the lessons learned from being both entrepreneurial, and honest.

This one saddened me. Truly, the way of Prince Hal, the Rogue King removing his rags to ascend the throne, is a dark way and not for all of us.

If you haven't read the Great Brain series, you really need to. They are funny, I hope my boys don't turn out like the Great Brain.

I loved this entire series and, now that I've remembered it, I'm going to get it for my son. I think he'll love them, too.
