I loved this book. I enjoy the author's mystery series as well.

Lucie and her daughter Chloe have just moved to Lyndon Point. Lucie has been searching for Chloe's father ever since their summer fling. Chloe is a result of that fling. Lucie tried to find him after she realized she was pregnant, but since Ryder didn't use his proper name when he was with her she had no idea how to find him. Lucie used a shorter version of her name too, so when Ryder tried to find her, he came to a dead end.

The story was a little far-fetched. Six years after an unforgettable spring-break fling, Lucie moves her daughter across the country to have her daughter start a relationship with the father. Surprise!! And the biggest issue that stood in the way of their forever happiness was the fact that the daddy wouldn't sell mommy a house!

Ginny's book was a complete surprise! I saw the publisher was Harlequin and was very hesitant to read the book, but a friend suggested I read it.
The characters mention God and their relationship with Him frequently; and although the characters are flawed individuals (aren't we all), they profess their mistakes and their reliance upon God's strength and wisdom.
Thank you Ginny, for writing a book that a Christian can read without fear and reccomend to their Christian and non-Christian friends.

Nice book emphasizing the power of faith, forgiveness and the love of children. The story went a little quick for me as I would have liked to have delved more into seeing how Chloe interacted with her two parents and how her mother was able to grow her business. Would also have enjoyed seeing more of the interpersonal relationships within the town developed...but alas, it was a quick read. Enjoyed it!
