When Grace met Seth eight years ago, she was a different person. She was shallow and spoiled, and immature. It caused her to treat him cruelly, and unbeknownst to her, her grandfather got him fired. When they meet again in the present, it's clear that Seth is still holding a grudge. He buys up the controlling shares in her family's company from her grandfather's young trophy widow and Grace's ex-fiance'. So now Seth is her boss, and he wants her back in his bed. Is it just about revenge, or are ...more

When in the mood I do love a book full of angst which is why I like HP books.

This was the first time I had read an EP's book and I wasn't disappointed, the story wasn't new or different but it was very well written. I would happily read any other works written by her.

The heroine Grace learns that her company has been involved in a hostile take over, and is shocked to discover that the person responsible is Seth, the hero, the man with whom she had a very passionate teenage love affair. Seeing Grace again reminds Seth of both the passion he once felt for her as well as the pain her betrayal caused. He is going to use the chance he has found to take over Grace's company to finally get revenged on her, and Grace knows this and accepts it knowing that her cruel ...more

Shelves: romance-suspence
Both Grace and Seth had preconceived images and thoughts of the other. They couldn’t be more wrong about the other. Red hot chemistry drew them together, but their pride kept their relationship distant. Once they swallowed their pride, their hearts were able to find the love that could have been theirs all along. This is a book that you have to read all the way though. You can’t skip ahead, and you defiantly can’t miss the ending. I think the ending was perfect. I was so glad the two actually op ...more

I don't understand how the main characters fell in love. They basically go from hate-lusting one another to secretly loving one another, with hardly any interaction besides sex. I mean, sex is great and an important part of an intimate relationship, but it isn't something you build a relationship on. The hero is very hot and cold towards the heroine, and he disappears for large chunks of time to "do business." And the heroine annoyed me. Oh, and I don't understand the logic behind them getting m ...more

I thought the novel was pretty average. I remember reading it before under another title. I did like the heroine, she had been through some trying time. The hero got a bit annoying when he set out to hurt the heroine maliciously but it all worked out in the end.

By the age of fourteen, Elizabeth had produced her first full-length novel—alas! never published—and by the age of fifteen her teenage years meant life was so full that al
