Injustice For All tells the parallel stories of Remington Wyatt, who is on the run, and Rafe Baxter, an FBI Agent looking to please his new boss by solving a cold case ... the one involving Remington. Remington disappears and 'Bella' appears in a new town, with a new identity. For three years she's successfully evaded the FBI and the crooks who murdered her godfather. She's always ready to run at the drop of a hat, but eventually she decided to take a stand.

“Every muscle in my body stiffened, and my mouth went spitless. Chambering a round was a distinct sound, unmistakable.”

Are you hooked? I was. These are the first two lines of this riveting, suspenseful novel called Injustice for All. It’s the first book in the Justice Seekers series. Wow, what an amazing start. I’m thankful for the review copy that has introduced me to characters I instantly cared about and story that kept me up late reading.

From the opening sentence of the prologue, when Remington Wyatt hears the cha-chk of the gun held by the person about to murder her godfather, until I turned the final page, I was drawn into this story. Robin Caroll has crafted a novel rife with tension that rises off the page like heat from the bayou on a summer afternoon. She parallels the experiences of Remington Wyatt and Rafe Baxter until Remington completely disappears, taking on an unknown identity in an attempt to escape the same fate as...more

Each of the characters in Injustice for All is so well-written the reader will instantly feel drawn to them. Remington with her ideas of trying to solve all her problems on her own, "No, thank you God. I don't need your help!" Rafe, who wants to do the right thing and thinks that even though God may have forgiven him for the past, He surely hasn't forgotten and wants Rafe to remember it, too. And Hayden, the sheriff with a best friend that he would do anything for and thinks he knows so well tha...more

Injustice for All: A Justice Seeker's Novel is Robin Caroll's newest Christian fiction book. When a young woman witnesses her godfather's murder, she goes on the run and begins a new life. FBI agent, Rafe Baxter is also making difficult changes in his life when his career takes an unexpected turn, and he is assigned a cold case to solve.

The character of Rafe is outstanding. He is likeable, sincere, and a man of faith. Remington's character was a little too frenetic at the beginning, but a contra...more

Yes, Robin Caroll is one of my favorite authors. I enjoyed her Evil Series and her first book in this new series is just awesome!

Injustice For All is about a woman who witnessed the murder on her godfather--a federal judge. She knows who the killers are and she knows she'll be next. She flees from everything she knows and starts over in another state with a new identity.

FBI agent Rafe Baxter is a great guy who sacrifices his career and promotion for his friend and colleague. He gets transferred...more

Oh my goodness, this story just grabs you from the first page and has you on the run with Remington until the end. The prologue alone is enough to pull you in, to draw you to Remington's side, to want to see justice done!

And Rafe - so torn between emotion and ambition, what he has to do vs. what he really wants. What great characters! Ms. Carroll gets you right under their skin.

This is one heart pounding thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat with a steel thread of faith running throu...more

Injustice for all by Robin Caroll

Sometimes book titles make no sense when you read the book. In this case the title of the book captures its very essence. The book is both a murder mystery and a tale of redemption.

Ms. Caroll does a great job intertwining and weaving character's stories into a complex tapestry of deception and murder. She provides a depth of character and overview of their lives that gives you sufficient insight as to their motivations. Some aspects of the book could be considere...more

What happens when you witness a murder and you can't go to the authorities because the authorities are the ones that committed the murder? Remington is about to find out. She uses her expertise as an FBI psychologist to cover her trail when she runs from the law.

I love the way this story runs in two separate sections until the story catches up to itself. And when it does it doesn't slow down for a second! It's difficult to explain how amazing this story is without giving away anything important...more

This was such a great story. Generally speaking, the story is about Remington Wyatt who witnesses a murder and goes on the run. She knows a lot about how to get "lost" because of the job she was working in at the time of the murder. Enter FBI agent, Rafe Baxter. In trying to further his career, he takes on a cold case having to do with the murder of a federal judge. Both of the main characters' paths lead them to Louisiana where the past has come to meet Remington in ways she hoped to avoid and...more

I have not read one of this author's books that I did not enjoy, and this one was no exception. A federal judge is murdered by a most unlikely source and the only witness has to go into hiding before she too is killed. She cannot tell what she saw because no one would believe her so she changes her complete appearance and habits and for three years has stayed hidden. An FBI agent working the cold case finds a document that takes him to the one town where the witness is. But the killers have foun...more

After finishing this one, all I can really say is “oh my”, and not in a good way. I had really high hopes for this book, I wanted a fun, light mystery after reading a truly great but heavy novel, and this was just not what I wanted in any way. It started out just fine, but lost me along the way.

My first complaint is that the mystery was just not that great. I don’t like to figure a mystery out on my own, I like the not knowing and wondering, feeling more like I’m one of the characters experienci...more

I loved this one. I may or may not officially review it. It depends on how much time I have. But just know that this is Christian Romantic suspense at its best. This novel drew me in from the very beginning. This is an author I'll definitely be keeping tabs on.

I even bought this book and would definitely reread it. Easily one of my favorite christian romantic suspense writers right up there with Irene Hannon and Dee Henderson.

I'm excited about this book because I think it is the beginning of a series. It is also the first book I've read by Robin Caroll, so I'm really looking forward to finding more of her books, especially the next one(s) in this series. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of research done for this book, and also by the enjoyable writing style the author employs. The characters are likable and genuine, and the action and suspense are gripping! I found excuses to slip off by myself to read! Robin...more

An awesome beginning to the Justice Seekers series in true Robin Caroll style. If you haven't read a Robin Caroll story yet, this is a perfect place to start. No matter who betrays us, God never will, and He always has a plan.

A dead judge, a girl on the run: what's not to love! Author Robin Caroll has given us another great mystery to solve in Injustice for All, the first in her Justice Seekers series.
As always, character development of the main characters is amazing: Bella/Remmington, Rafe, and Hayden. Even the development of peripheral characters such as Rafe's bratty little sister, Riley, and Hayden's bipolar little sister, Emily who is allowed to get away with everything since she has a "problem", is just stella...more
