Olivia Lagore
Informational book explaining the symbiotic relationship between aphids and ants. I remember in the movie "Bug's Life", one of the ants had a pet aphid, but I never knew that this detail was based in fact. According to this book, aphids provide an extra food source (a byproduct of plants they eat) for the ants, while the ants provide protection, and sometimes transportation. Fascinating!
