Recommends it for: girls ready to start dating seriously and need that frank advice

I've always wanted to read a dating advice book, not because I need to advice, but because I'd like to see what advice is out there for the completely clueless woman. I want to make sure the clueless women are getting good advice! And this book seems to do exactly that.

One major selling point for me with this book was that the author, Dennie Hughes, utilizes her very prominent voice throughout each chapter, giving this book a very personal, homey, best friend feel that I think is extremely effe...more

Standard dating advice presented in a blunt, trendy, Cosmo gal pal/frenemy style that I couldn't identify with or enjoy. Advice also seems contradictory, as well (e.g., the chapter on being too picky/not picky enough).
