Josie’s come a long way from being an average human chick who just wants to sex-up a vampire. She’s dated, mated, and killed one of the world’s richest vamps and is currently seeing a mysterious, blood-slurping hottie named Walker.

Now, Josie must adjust to the realities of a steady relationship with a vampire, which isn’t all exciting parties, hot sex and moonlit walks. An

Great Scott, I so love Josie. She is so much fun. She just has this sense of humor, that I can not get enough of.

Josie and Walker are trying to learn to be together in day to day life. Josie is so full of life so she tends to get bored during the day. Walker is set in his ways but he soon starts going out of his way to make his woman happy. I loved seeing their every day normal life not on the run for their life or some crazy crime solving scenario.

This book still brings in the heat and the fu

I have been aching to read this book since I read the first book. It felt so good to enter the lives of Josie and Walker(sigh I so love him). I was like a kid in a candy store when I started this book today and I didn't stop(okay once to get a drink)until I was done.

This book picked up where we left off. Josie and Walker heading to Texas where he called home.
Talk about a stark contrast to where she lived, basically she went for suburban Florida to put it mildly deep in the county including an a

Secrets and Trust is the second installment in ‘The Vampire Relationship Guide’ series by Evelyn Lafont. Funny, sexy and hot are just a few words that would sum this book up to me (and the lead male character Walker..*fans face*).

This book basically picks up where Meeting and Mating (book one) leaves off. Josie and Walker have been spending some quality time together after her near death experience and are on a road trip to Texas, Walker’s home. There were quite a few surprises in this book for

The first book was all about Josie accomplishing her ultimate fantasy of sleeping with a vampire. Well in this book, Josie has accomplished that goal, but now she doesn't know where to go from here. She was almost killed last time and has to take time off from her bridal shop in order to get her life back in order. She made a bunch of money for helping capture a rogue vampire (even though she wasn't really trying to do that at all) and is in need of a vacation. She ended up dating Walker in the ...more

Recommends it for: Anyone with a good sense of humor who loves vampires and werebunnies!
Josie and Walker are back. In this second look at the pair we are taken to nowhere Texas, can I relate to that by the way, and Josie is unceremoniously introduced to a Stripper who is waiting to welcome Walker home. She then meets his friend Harry who likes to be called "Buck" and when you find out why you are going to laugh! Along with being out in the middle of no place Walker's functional but non glamorous abode does not have the amenities close by that poor Josie is used to, no Starbucks, no ...more

Prelim Review: While I wouldn't say a whole lot of nothing happened in the book, a fair chunk is dedicated to Josie going out and about, Walker being possessive and them doing couple stuff before sex. LaFont focused more on the relationship and emotional entanglements this time around, seemed more inclined to have Josie worry about her future with Walker and the fact they couldn't just do what they were doing for however long she lived. I appreciated the fact Josie was more practical in this boo ...more

When I won this book I was ecstatic, when I got it from the author was overwhelmed, when I started sending it to my kindle I was restless! And I really wanted to read it because the first book was soooo good. Unfortunately due to me being some blog tours, I had to prioritize other eBooks. But when I started this I didn't stop until I finished it.

Honestly, it wasn't as good as the first one BUT it was hilarious! I loved how much this installment made me laugh. Oh and the steamy sex was wonderful

I really enjoyed this second addition to the series although the way it ended was very abrupt which I really hope means there will be at least a third book in the series if not more! I love Walker and Josie and more characters were introduced in the form of Walker's unexpected twin brother Grady and his for want of a better word aid Harry who is also a werebunny! I will admit to laughing abit learning that this big six foot something guy was a werebunny but it did make other things about his beh ...more
Cute, but needs more

I enjoyed the beginning a lot. The middle had some good laughs. Unfortunately I hoped the end would come soon, or the story would get back on track.

I'm still laughing as I read on Walker and Josie's journey.
Admire the fact that it's a quick read and a very entertaining one at that :)
Looking forward to the third book!!

The first book was great and I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. Much to my disappointment I couldn't even get through the entire book. The characters get annoying. I love Walker and Josie in the first book but they get trashy in this one. I found myself rolling my eyes constantly and eventually I began to hate the characters. The story drags on and on, so much so that I just stopped reading. I was sorely disappointed in this second book and will not be reading anymore!

2.75 Stars - Good story, nice funny writing but it needs more romance . . . I wanted to know how Walker felt. Instead he was way too stoic and smirky about his past lovers.

I seriously love this series, and can't wait to find out what happens next. Josie gets into so much trouble just by being herself, and her vampire boyfriend Walker is sinfully sexy. There were laughs on almost every page, keeping me from putting this book down. If you love vampires, romance and laughing until your ribs hurt, you don't wanna miss this series.

Again, good and fun and quick. Doesn't take itself too seriously and was a good short break before more serious reading.

Boring. I wanted a flat tire to end the road trip. Some humor, but the action from the first book was missing.

Evelyn Lafont. Evelyn is a full-time writer living in Florida with her perfect orange kitties and totally alpha hubby who saves her from squirrels, stray dogs, glue and herself.

Her debut paranormal romance series, The Vampire Relationship Guide, is a four-novella romp that takes a satirical look at what could happen if a clueless human chick really dated a vampire. It’s also got some good sex and
