I enjoyed Midnight Children a lot. Hannah takes a job as a nurse aid at a ranch.
Hannah is also studying to get a full degree and needs the money since she gave away all her savings to her sister. So, yes she is kind and big hearted but that is not a by-word for push-over. Her new employer Nate is a little late in picking her up and is gruff and even a bit rude when he sees how she looks and tells her she doesn't have a job. More fun than I was expecting. Definitely the "I know what's going to happen" type of harlequin like book. But I liked the characters, and didn't want to hit any of them, which is a change for me and this type of book recently.
A fast read, about 2 hours...

The main characters were really developed and their actions and reactions fit very well in their characterization. Hannah ruled and Nate was the typical hard on the outside marshmallow on the inside kinda guy that simply had too many scars to want to let anyone inside.

The secondary characters left me wanting more. I was a little peeved however that Hannah and Nate had so little interaction with the rest of characters but this is pretty standard in romance novels, h...more
