Some good ideas for mentor texts, but the text was so dense, it wasn't always easy to access. Also, I think the author is a librarian: she knows a lot about books--so many books!--but the pedagogy was a little strained at times.

for teachers/programmers
Looks cool, because it gives examples of books that use our five senses, or that have unique characters, etc. And they are current books like Project Mulberry or Shooting Kabul. Could be good stuff for writing workshops.
