everyone keeps telling me that twin lies is a much better book. it's not better, it's just more accessible. different style. read it and let me know.

I love this novel. It has all the elements I really like in a plot: twins, running away and finding a new life, and of course, dogs. Also, it deals with the theme of identity or multiple identities that the protagonist plays out in her travels. I don't know why TWIN LIES hasn't received more attention here on Goodreads and on Amazon. I was completely immersed in the story and read the whole book in one day. Hope to see more novels from Laureen Vonnegut.

I realized as I started reading this book that I didn't know very much about twins. The most interesting part for me was the whole discussion around identity, and how that is expressed with someone that looks like you, thinks like you and acts like you.
