I thought the plot was relatively well woven. It kept me on my toes, given how long the book was!

This was another good murder mystery without any gory details and kept me in the dark until the end of the book. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

This is a well-crafted mystery, very entertaining. Hubbert has just retired and right after his retirement party, one of the partners in the firm is murdered. He is called back in to help with the PR nightmare that ensues. He brings in his very curious, shrewd, and sprightly octogenarian Aunt Lil to help him figure out the case. The characters are well drawn and the story well-written.

Classic, Agatha Christie-esque murder mystery. Well-written, nice twists at the end, not predictable. The author creates characters and setting that feel real. But, in the end, not all that enthralling. I won't be chasing down the rest of the books in this series.

Just finished this old-fashioned whodunit. Loved the fact that it kept me guessing. Good characters, interesting setting, multiple murders in the financial district. It is a little slow getting started. That is the only downside.

Very slow starting, but got interesting if you can make it through it. The characters were over developed And all seem unlikeable. Aunt Lil was unbearable, and T.S was unrealistic.

T S Hubbert, just retired, teams up with his Auntie Lil to investigate the murder of one of the partners at his old firm. Entertaining thriller.

So you think you have retired? Not so for the hero of this book. A few surprises before the murderer is declared.

An amusing mystery. Auntie Lil was a bit much but T.S. was a nice, realistic-enough character and I enjoyed him.

Lillian figures out the clue that the murder leaves.

Hubberts faith in his people-judging is questioned.
