The story explains a lot about Lily's character, and I'm glad I got the chance to read it! I actually like her character more now that I've got some back story, I wasn't too sure about her before. It tells of how she met Apollo and started working with him. Her character is written consistently in both pieces, you know what type of person she is. I recommend it to anyone that's read The Weight of Night. And even if you haven't, check it out!

Worldbuilding: The demigods world from The Weight of Night is a fun one, with mythological elements and lots of intrigue.
