Sixth in Stone Arch’s Flash arc of the DC Super Heroes series, “Shell Shocker” seems promising at the outset. From the first sentence, readers find themselves in the middle of the action-packed, fast-paced novel featuring “The Flash,” a superhero who may be new to this generation. This is a fun story with some noticeable logic holes. The best part was the use of a "forgotten" villain, one who dates back to the days of the Golden Age Flash. The worst part were the cases in which the author simply didn't have a good handle on the powers and abilities of The Flash, or the ways he would use them. Of course, the writer also thinks that cell phones [just like bombs???] are filled with lots of little wires that plug into different sockets, and uses that as a plot point...
