Nelson Anderson’s life is full of bitterness and the need for revenge. Even though he’s one of the richest men in America, his money can’t bring back what’s been taken away from him. Wynter O’Reilly is determined to make a better life for herself and maybe even her mother. Gutsy and hard working, she just may be the answer to Nelson’s needs. All he has to do is give her a little polish.

Really enjoyed this story - my favourite type of hero! Found it very hard to put down to get some sleep...
Only thing keeping me from five stars is that book could have done with some (more) editing, but not dramatic.

The book had potential - starts with a trope I usually like - young underprivileged girl captures the heart of a wealthy older man bent on revenge.

Unfortunately the book does not READ well. The characters don't speak in a realistic manner. The dialogue is stilted and predictable. There was too much detail given , which I found annoying and there was excessive melodrama towards the end of the story I couldn't connect to because the characters were too unrealistic.
