I must say, I absolutely LOVED this read. Why? Well for starters, I was always a fan of the “choose-your-own-adventure” book format. I remember checking out several different ones from our school library as a child. I had the guilty habit of marking my spot so if something went wrong with my choice, I could always rewind the last scene. Very fun take on the classic, but this is a choose your path adventure. Wow, and are there ever a lot of paths to choose! It's hard to know what the right decision is, and often, you'll find yourself DEAD if you choose poorly. I imagine this would be a blast especially for the reluctant reader group.
I was terrible at this choose your own path book. I kept making poor choices. I am excited to put this book in the hands of a developing reader in my class. This will be a very high interest book for him.
