I reviewed each story separately. Taken as a whole, the collection is a fun, varied set of experiences. None are cliche; each gives a very different perspective into very different worlds.

Gods of Justice features ten stories, each by a different author and set in its own universes, giving diverse experiences at the applications and implications of superpowers. Some people are about to discover their superpowers; some are confronted with new challenges; others are called out of retirement. Be it the present or future, Earth or elsewhere, the different settings are easy to get into.

Being a superhero would be pretty cool. Flying, smashing, stretching, web-slinging--all that stuff sounds like a lot of fun. But there's a downside to everything. For example, superheroes have no extended families and probably very few friends. "It was the curse of dedicating one's existence to serving the ravenous gods of justice." Dark knights and WWII super soldiers take note.

This contains an amazing story by Jordan Taylor, and one of my favourites of hers (and it's hard to choose).
