I was pleased to find this because there are not many Thanksgiving-themed chapter book. In this book, the kids are helping set up a food pantry, but it keeps getting sabotaged.

The ending was a little too happy-happy. I guess they wanted to finish the book on an upbeat note since this is for little kids.

It teaches two useful words: "fraud" and "heist".

Someone is sabotaging a food pantry.... I mean come on, that is the lowest of the low. But that won't stop the kids, they keep charging forward. Every wonder if they will be adult jerks if they ever manage to grow up?

It was a great book, and I liked the part where the turkey sign went missing.
As usual, the adults in this series have ridiculously poor social skills and act like morons.
