A lot of thought and planning went into this novel. It was well written and at times had you on the edge of your seat. I really enjoyed reading it and getting to know the characters. I was emotionally attached to a few of them and the emotions in the book made everything more real, solid. At times the book had a 'dark' theme and it was eerily creepy. All together an amazing novel with a great happy ending.

I received a review copy of this novel, and while I had plenty of books in my "pile" to read, I looked forward to the opportunity, having read some work by the author previously. Knowing I'd be in for a deep read, with challenging circumstances, and real to life characters... I had no clue how intensely I'd get drawn in from page one.

Immediately struck with some harsh language, I was concerned... but as the book continued it wasn't enough to ruin the experience, and truly fit the feel of such in

I really liked this one... a bit different than what I usually read. It deals with a couple in their 40's married 20+ years. They deal with many serious issues including career choices, infidelity (in the past though flashbacks), teenage sons and most importantly, an accusation of sexual misconduct. This book was pretty intense at times but I would like to read more like this one.

A wife gets pregnant and it's not her husband's kid. Meanwhile the husband is (falsely) accused of molesting a student. Can this marriage be saved? Dramariffic and over the top, just the way I like 'em!

good book. Betrayal, lies, accusations, abuse and marraige. A thought provoker. A good fast paced novel.

Looking back, Kathryn says she should have known then that writing was in her future. But as so often happens, fate sent her detouring d ...more
