Beautiful book. Here are my favorite quotes:
- Traveling with either only your mother or your father is unlike anything else.
- Dialogue is always war's first victim.
- [About US]: Children, you have to be so grateful to be here.
- [About US]: It is, after all, the country I chose for my family, and the country that has chosen us.
- [About US]: Here, there is a very tight relationship between effort and results.
- I've never met anybody else who had such a hard time taking time off.
- We read because,
It may just be the great admiration I feel for this guy talking, but I loved this book.
It got me thinking about my parents and the things I don't know about them. Or the things I'd love for my kids to know about me if I weren't around at a given point in their lives. Alltogether, it's the kind of book that makes you take a step back and reconsider one's realationship with family, friends and life.

I enjoyed this book. It helped me to appreciate some of the similar issues that I have been faced with in growing up and becoming a father.
Very interesting and easy to read. Makes you thinks about what is really important in life in a casual and fun way.

Me encanto. Espero seguir el ejemplo y dejarles algo asi a mis hijos.
Indispensable leer con calma la decimocuarta carta.
A little too preachy for my taste but it was a good read.
Share with your children everything about you...they are all the better for it. Ramos, shares details of his life for his children with his stories and allows us to take a peak with this book.
