This book has all the ingredients of a classic chick lit read, and it is not original that the central female character has a crush on her boss, Jamie. However, this novel has hidden depths.
It is written as a blog, so it is in chatty diary form which is rather like a series of gossipy telephone conversations, and it works really well because I felt I already knew Natasha on a personal level.

I loved the being in Tasha's head and seeing it all throught her eyes. Loved Jamie, and found all he had to go through horrendous. Maybe at times it may have been nice to see inside his head too. But this was the way the suthor chose to tell the tale and I enjoyed both the story and the way in w...more

I have been passionate about reading and writing since early childhood. Prize-winning stories in primary school led to hours writing fanfic (long before the phrase was invented) as a teenager, and I wrote my first novel in my twenties. Life got in the way of my dream of becoming a best-selling author, but writing and reading have remained life-long pleasure pastimes.
