Vampires anyone? Laurie Bowler has taken the genre to a whole new level with her body of work. She is definitely a busy gal with her newest full length novel, The Depths of Darkness. She also has her new series Across the City which has three installments in publication already: The Beginning, The Battle Begins, and Carnage with a fourth on the way, The Alliance. Laurie will be my guest in The G-ZONE next week April 5th @ 8.30am EST to discuss all that and much, much, much more. Enough witty ban ...more

This is the sixth book I have read from this author and is the best yet. I wasn't sure this would be able to improve on the already impressive books I have read previously, but boy am I glad to be proven wrong.

This story is a bit of a departure for the author from her previous books in that the lead character, Patty, is not a vampire, but instead is a witch.

The story is read from the perspective of Patty and follows her as she tries to uncover the truth behind the death of her mentor Matace. As
Witches, Vampires and all kinds of creepy monsters.creatures in this book. A great adventure and a great read with strong willed characters, newly introduced characters and paranormal beings.

A recommended read for anyone who enjoys adventure, witches, vampires anything paranormal with romance, I thoroughly enjoyed this book particularly with the fight scenes where I noticed a huge enhanced difference with the way author has written them and introduced them.

I loved the extra and new creatures in this book and the fact it was witches and vampires together.

I felt it was a good combination and a great storyline to read. I highly recommend checking this one out and its not a bad price.

Only $0.99 which is brilliant for this size novel.

Absolutely fantastic book. The series is out now called SIlver Vein and I have already downloaded it, so excited to read it.

And this author is giving all money to charity which is even better a full 5 stars for this amazing lady!!
