Casey and Bruce are assigned to investigate a paedophile ring in operation around Jadebrook. The victims are young, athletic teenage boys. Not only are these young men being photographed for the rings’ disturbed enjoyment, they are then murdered, their bodies dumped in the forest.

Ah, Casey and Bruce are back:) Jason isn't in this one much but what he is is significant. I love the interaction between Casey and Bruce, they remind me of some of my brothers;) Anyway, in this one Casey and Bruce are up against some REALLY nasty characters, pedophiles! Oh, man, these guys are horrible!!! Casey must get the goods on the bad guys once again. This time he is to go undercover as a high school student. For the most part I enjoyed "The Long Hood of the Law". I couldn't get into the whole docking thing or how Casey could, with any logic, get in these situations with his police partner, let alone the criminal element. But, it was funny none the less. There were a lot of characters to develop in such a short story as well, I felt like some of them could have used more attention and a number of them could have been cut.
