One of the most common behaviors when we are stuck in a job that doesn't gratify us anymore is to hold on to it, waiting for a change of luck or better times and opportunities to come around. In a general climate of uncertainty and economic downturn, perseverance seems to be the safest choice. It happens, though, that our need to change direction will become painfully obvious at some point: the circumstances we have bee
I always pick up these kinds of books thinking that THIS one will be the silver bullet I've been looking for... and find out again that I'm the only one who can figure out what I need to be doing on this earth. That's not to say that I think numerology is complete bunk. In fact, this book showed me pretty clearly that it is on target in a broad sense (for me and friends whose birthdays I know). Sue's analysis of my number (I'm a 4) confirmed my approach to things and why I am where I am, and the ...more
I'm not sure I got a whole lot out of this book. I guess I should be impressed that it told me what I already know about the kinds of things I should be doing (as a Sagittarius 7, I have to blend my social charisma with my intellectual and isolationist tendencies. Well, yep). I guess I wanted something a little more concrete, but then again, this wasn't the book for that. And it started to feel repetitive as I read. Yeah, I get it, I'm the only person in charge of my destiny, good things will co ...more

As a parent of a young adult in a mental health crisis, you may be doing your relative a real favor by absorbing what the book has to say about possible career paths derived from being yourself. A person in a mental health crisis knows a lot about pain. This book advises you to consider your pain as your career fuel. Choose the right time to open up this career path dialogue, when your relative is well along the road to recovery. Forcing the issue too soon can provoke a crisis, as my husband and ...more
This book in particular explains so much about numerology and astrology in an easy to read manner. She's a bright and down-to-earth lady that brings spirituality and intuitive connections into our daily lives. So many authors can make intuition sound like a foreign concept that only a chosen few can grasp, but not Sue! With this book, she has helped me with my everyday decision making and continuous career exploration. If you're wanting to figure out what a fulfilling career would feel like- ins ...more
I'm still not convinced that my birth path number suits me -- apparently I'm an 8 who's going to change the world by accumulating money, which is odd because the corporate world makes my stomach turn almost as much as the world of high finance.

I also found the values associated with my number to be a little vague. "Dreams of retiring as a millionaire" (p. 184) isn't exactly a career path so much as something I'm pretty sure everyone in the world would be okay doing. That said, the idea of using

I was very impressed by the excellent structure and writing in this helpful book. If you have ever been forced out of a career, lost your job, been laid off, you know that it feels so unfair. The book helps people use their 'fear as fuel'; further, it encourages the reader to seek not just employment, but the job that best suits their personal divine soul path in order to find happiness, financial security and fulfilment. In this book, author Sue Frederick provides tools and tips for discovering ...more

I really enjoyed the layout and perspective of this book. I picked this book quite by accident and found it to provide an interesting perspective. As someone who has often looked for signs that I'm doing what I was meant to do in this life, this book was fascinating and offers a very different perspective to the traditional career coaching. I have taken a different program that offered a similar career foundation as what Sue puts forth in this book. The approach of using numerology is certainly ...more
I can tell that this book is going to change my life. It totally got me out of a mental box that I was stuck in for a long time.

Another great author that I represent, I just love Sue, I SEE YOUR DREAM JOB is the first in a series, I SEE YOUR SOUL MATE and I SEE YOUR LOVED ONE are next. Once I SEE YOUR DREAM JOB was completely written I realized I was in my dream job! YAY for me. Sue's wonderful book can help anyone out there searching to find a fulfilling career. You know the saying, "do what you love and the money will follow." I believe that is true. If you are looking to change your career path, this is the book for y ...more
Excellent! Fun to see how this relates to my personality and the place I am on my life path. It's also really interesting to see the truth that resonates with others in my life. It helps bring more understanding and compassion towards people that are different birth numbers and at different stages of their 9 yr cycle.

this was strange but the descriptions of our entire family (6 of us) were completely accurate. it gave us chills. someone else has a hold on this book so i have to give it back but i will check it out again and read the entire book. weirdly accurate in our case!

More than just a book about finding your dream job, Frederick provides insights into one's overall life path. Dan Millman's book "The Life You Were Born To Live" could be seen as the cliff notes to this book; Frederick's book goes into much more depth and detail.
I read this for a course I am taking on Intuitive Coaching. The book had a lot about numerology and astrology in it. Not sure how much I but into it and I will stay open this weekend durning the sessions.

I am a life path 2.
Amanda was ok. I guess when I pick up a book like this I expect a little more life changing direction...which is of course too much to expect from a book. Oh well, it was ok.
I found this helpful to keep my focus straight during my job search. A bit too much mysticism for my taste, but it gives good direction.

Too many stories and not enough hints, tips or guidance to figure what my dream job is.
Good read- gives you lots to think about. Great for those contemplating change.
