This has always been my favorite book! Reading about King David is something I find myself doing when I am struggling in life. Dr. McGee is a treasure from the Lord, who was given the gift of explaining the Bible in a simple way for everyone to understand. Whenever I read First and Second Samuel, I feel my burdens lift. King David was a man after God's own heart and is a true example of someone who always put their faith in our Lord. Reading this book always helps me to move forward and to conti...more
