One of the rules of horror is to hit the reader, or viewer, hard at the beginning of your work and then don't hit as hard again until the end. That rule doesn't apply with horror author, Todd Card as Mr. Card hits us hard with his opening to, Hell Cometh, and beats us to a bloody pulp from middle to end.
