This follows the story of five millenia ago as told by Braanol, an entity that once had a body and has since become something more and an inhabitant of the world of Diskra. Braanol takes the reader and his listeners back to a time when the Termans ran riot through his planet and his and his countryman's desperate attempts to defend themselves and their homes. This is a science fiction short story original publishing in in 1947 in the pulp magazine "Fantasy World." It takes place on Diskra, one of three planets inhabited by intelligent beings in the same solar system. They inhabit the fourth planet from the sun.
