A cool introduction book on 4G, WiMaX. Before reading this book one should at least know the basics on digital communications and signals and systems. Analog and digital communications book from Haykin is a good choice as a starter, keep it close while reading this book. You should definitely know QPSK and QAM for example. I have read it until 8th chapter. Remaining part was about WiMaX which was unnecessary for my case. The concept of OFDM containing coding, interleaving is well introduced. You ...more
