A good guide book if you know the general areas of the state and want to explore some new places. If you are a tourist or new Montana resident, take a good map and a tour guide! There is just enough information to get someone really lost if they don't know exactly where they are going.

Many of the photos were taken in less-than-favorable light. Many were photographed on cloudy days and at least one was taken while it was raining. Another was taken at dusk and is so dark the detail of the waterfa

Huh, I wasn't expecting to think much of this book since it seems pretty niche -- it's for waterfall enthusiasts living in Montana. And really, it only covers the western half of the state. It's so well done though! Full color glossy, hiking directions and seasons, nearby hotels and campgrounds...I never considered myself a "waterfall enthusiast" but now I find myself wanting to see all these.
