When I first saw this book, I didn't think it would be all that special considering it was on sale for only 99 cents. But as soon as I started it, I seriously could not put it down. The writer really builds up the suspense, and the characters are very well built and structured. I love how everything is really real, and it describes everything so well it's like I'm in the book itself. It's a really great read and I loved every moment of it. I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a dramatic m More...

The Celebutantes: On the Avenue is a good book, the genre of this book is mystery and fiction. It is written from the narrative's point of view. If you are in a room where you see a dead body is lying there what would you do? Of course you run away not saying something, or you run away calling the police what you saw. But have More...

Being a celebutante isn't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, you get to live a very rich lifestyle with all the cool parties, nice clothes, hot dates, and special privileges. But being a suspect in a murder trial does not make being a celebutante worth it.

Triplets Madison, Park, and Lexington Hamilton know this firsthand, and wearing a tight dress with the perfect pumps just won't get them out o More...

I think this is one of the first mysteries that I have read which concerns rich, spoiled girls as the main characters and the ones who will ultimately solve the case.

The mystery starts almost immediately, when the triplets Lex, Park and Madison stumble into the room where their fashion party is held and finds the body of noted designer. Immediately, the media is there, snapping pictures and conjuring up headlines faster than you can say, "Oh my God". It's the biggest scand More...

I seriously hated this book!

I read a lot of young adult books in my role as a teacher and to help out my high school librarian husband. I was apalled at this book, which is geared to teenagers. It features a set of fabulously wealthy, incredibly gorgeous triplets. In the first 20 odd pages of the book, we found one twin giving a stranger a blow job, one lying and sneaking out of the house while being very cavelier about her active sex life, and all of them involved in a murder inve More...

This book was really good, better than I thought.
16-year old triplets Lexington, Park and Madison Hamilton are Paris Hilton type celebs (Famous for being rich and famous) that are implicated in several murders that they then decide to solve on their own.

What a silly book. It was still good but very simple and silly. A killer plus teen chic fluff. Good stuff.

I thought this book was gossip girl but mix in with some Nancy drew.it tell the tale of 3 Celebutantes a combination of celebrity and debutantes living in the upper east side of new york by there wealthy father. Madison,Lexington, and Park are world known for the story of the avenue diamond. Due to a murder of one of the most top fashion editor and now the avenue diamond has been stolen the girl must start pitting on there D&G detective wear and be on the case. A good way to tie fashion into a murder. Three sister celebutants are linked to a murder and now the murderer is after them. The book goes through many of the characters point of view and that makes it intresting. I also liked how you dont figure out the murderer intil the very end.

Not the most wonderful piece of literature I've ever read, but I don't think it's meant to be, and that's fine. The Celebutantes: On the Avenue is great, gossipy fun.

If Paris Hilton and her posse decided to play Veronica Mars, you'd get this book of sheer awesomeness.
