This is a collection of essays about the virgin of Guadalupe written by a variety of Mexicans, Mexican-Americans, and even a couple of Guatemalans. The variety of writers provided a range of styles and vocabulary that provided challenging Spanish language practice, as well as many different perspectives--religious, cultural, and aesthetic--on the Virgin of Guadalupe.
