Recommends it for: teachers, kids gr 3-6, anyone who loves the show "I Shouldn't Be Alive"
My students LOVE this book! They beg me to read it when they come to Media because it is full of awesomely TRUE stories that kids can really identify with. I enjoy reading it aloud to them because it often initiates excellent discussions about safety, environmental issues, and making good choices. This book, as well as Verstraete's other books, have definitely turned my students on to non-fiction.
