Having really enjoyed Beautifully Broken, Book I in Sherry Soule’s Spellbound Series, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to read Book II as well. It started out rough for Shiloh, nothing new, and boy, once again, I loved the way she handled herself. I can say in all honesty, that this YA series so far is something that I would actually recommend to someone with teenage daughters, if you know what I mean. Wow! Now things are really getting exciting (and maybe a little terrifying) around Whispering Pines! I liked this book even better than the first one! Now that Shiloh has discovered her roots and began fighting against evil, the whole town seems to be teeming with dangerous and intriguing new creatures. I admit, I was a little worried after that ending in Beautifully Broken, but there is still plenty of adventure and romance for Shiloh. Not to mention we get to see a whole new side of the gorgeo...more
