I didn't mind this book. It gives a nice overview of cycling for those of us who used to ride everyday but 20 years later, have decided it might be a good idea to get riding again. I skimmed most of the book, but the maintenance sections was the most useful.

This is a great book for people like me, who haven't ridden much in the last 30 years and just bought a new bike to try and get back in shape. It's got great pictures for simple bike maintenance as well as some of the more technical repairs if you decide to get that detailed.

This book was merely adequate. Quite a bit too simplistic and intended for a rank beginner. Luckily my wife is a beginning rider and got a little from it.
