To tell the truth, up to two third of the book I was gonna put 4 stars cause I really really liked that story. It was deep, meaningful. But once the characters slept together, it seemed like it was page on page of sex. Nothing wrong with sex, especially when it's well written like this, but it seemed for a good while that all that happened next was just to include more sex. And, after such a wonderful read, I felt like it hurt the story. It certainly hurt my enjoyment of it. But then the wrap-up...more
A decent standalone love story, and if you have read Radclyffe's Honor series you will recognise the main characters, Tanner Whitley and Adrienne Pearce. They play only a small part in the Honor books to date, but Tomorrow's Promise shows how they met and fell in love.
