The book, The Fallen by Paul Langen is worth reading. The situation the Martin went through had a happy ending. He was brave because he never backed down from Frankie, even though he was coming to kill him. It was intense because when they broke into his house, it was all dark and he was hiding. He saw his buddy and signaled him to not to say anything, then Frankie stepped towards him, he hit him in his hurt arm with a bat, then the cops, and his mom came. He reinstated back into Bluford High.

I thought the book “The Fallen”, by Paul Langan was a good book. It follows the story of Martin Luna who witnessed his little brothers murder. Martin and his friends went to get back at the murderer but he changed his mind at the last minute, making one of the gang members he was with angry at him. He tries to confront him to talk but he knows that he will always be in danger until he goes through with his plan. He meets a girl named Vicky and they start to work out his problems.

In my book "The Fallen" , we start off with our main character whose name is Martin. He is a bit of a trouble maker and finds himself going to the principles office multiple times. For him, trouble seems to follow him in various ways. First he is forced to move schools because of all the trouble he caused in the past school along with his mother which is the only person he has. Here he wishes he never came and wishes to have never met Frankie his crews leader now enemy coming after him.

I chose to read "The Fallen" by Paul Langan because it show's the possible real life affects of young men growing up without a father figure. I also chose to read this book because the author wrote multiples books that I was interested in reading. I picked this book because I read the back of the book and it created a type of suspense and made me want to read it even more.

I thought this book was fantastic, it had me from the first page on. I was amazed at the imagery the author created for this

this book was shockingly very intriguing. Becasue the author already wrote a book about this and the fallen is the sequel to it. I thought it was just going to be a flashback of the original becasue i had to drag myself to read the first two chapters. Though, once it got to the third it started to get interesting. It was so interesting I finished the book in two hours, and that is crazy for me cause it usually takes me a week. Anyways this book is a great book for a kid who is going threw intern ...more

I was so excited to get to this book, because this is the first Bluford book that I had ever heard about from my students. A continuation of _Brothers in Arms_, we again hear the first-person perspective of Martin as he faces the consequences of his decision in _Brothers in Arms_. It was good to read his struggle and his determination to follow through with who he now wants to be, not the person he thought he was, and it was good to watch his meditation upon revenge (couched in his introduction ...more
this book is so gud i'm just glad that Martin chose not to kill the man that killed his little brother cause he would end up in jail, while Frankie is out causing trouble, he knows he's mother is so worried about him but he doesn't listen to her at all he just do what he wants, but at the end he changes his act in became a better person then he was with Frankie in the gang, he was brave to face Frankie but he knew it was all Frankie fault that his little brother was killed so he quit hanging out ...more

"The Fallen" by Paul Langan is honestly one of the best books I have read in a really long time. This story is about a teenager named Martin. His younger brother,Flaco, was killed in a drive-by that wasn't even supposed to be for him. It was for Martin's homie, Frankie. Frankie and Martin later start having problems. If you want to find out what and why the have those problems then you should keep on reading.
I really think you should read this book because it shows why someone should never be i

He loses his brother ,Huero, to a drive by shooting. He is going through a tough time. He is in his own gang. They found Huero's killer. They are going to kill him for killing Huero. Hey you, yea you, Do you like Realistic Fiction? Then the book "The Fallen" is just for you. I thought this book was very intensed, outraged, and depressing at the same time, but overall I thought it was good. This is the kind of book where you would probably need a big box of tissues because it's very depressing.

First of all, the setting takes place at Bluford high. The pertinency of it to the story is this why he is about to get expelled because he's always getting into a fight with Steve, h
I thought that The Fallen was an outstanding book to read. This is a sequel to Brothers in Arms. The book starts off by saying how Frankie wants payback from Martin. Frankie wanted payback due to the fact that Martin wanted to back away from the revenge plan that they made for the death of Martin's brother. Throughout the book, Martin is caught between giving up on his friends and going to the police, or just sitting back waiting for his death to come.

I loved how this book kept me guessing what

THE FALLEN is about a teen named martin being in a gang and frankie the enemy of martin is trying to beat martin up because he backed out of killing the killer of martin's little huero who was killed by a gang banger and frankie is trying to get back at martin for backing down.
The reason I chose this book was because this book is the continuation of a previous book that i have read. And these Bluford High books remind me of real life situations and I can relate. One thing I hope to get out the book is learning how to handle real life situations that I can relate to from these books.
The main idea of this book "The Fallen" is about a young man name Martin, who suffers from peer pressure, gangs, drugs, and his main problem is him losing his brother a while back to gang vi
