I enjoyed the Chikawaca background in the story but the pace was too slow for me and more than once I was tempted to just give up and stop reading it.

I made it till the end and although there were a few things I liked in this novel overall it wasn't enough for me to say I liked it.

I loved this book! When love gets in the way of loyalty, which should take precedence? Why should one be chosen over the other? I really enjoyed this story and the roller-coaster ride it became.
