This is a great introduction to some of the major medical discoveries of the last 100+years. Young teens will be able to understand enough to enjoy this book and, because the discoveries discussed are so important world-wide, they will receive a good basis for understanding other aspects of 20th century history.

I did notice a minor mistake or two in areas that I understand well, but nothing significant.
