Mary has an unnatural obsession with Devin, the lead singer of the band Caelan. When friends and her mother become concerned, she agrees to go to counselling. Eventually Mary becomes a psychologist herself, leaving her old obsessions behind. But when her life becomes too much to handle, will she turn to her friends and family or revert to the behaviors of an obsessed teenager?

I got the depth I was looking for from this book – I was even surprised at how Fox was able to involve me in the story so thoroughly. The ending, too, after all of Mary’s tragedies, was heart-breaking. Overall, this story was a magnificent, if slightly chilling, read.

Yikes, what a ride with an unexpected ending. Without giving too much away, let me just say that Mary, the main character, is the daughter of Kathy Bates' character in Misery... I swear she is! Well, okay. Maybe she isn't, but she could be LOL Your Biggest Fan takes us through different stages of Mary's life and how her unhealthy obsession keeps getting in the way. This is by no means my usual read, but I totally enjoyed it.
