Whilst you can now get about any genre of m/m romance you care to name, f/f remains scarce on the ground. This charming Heyer-esque novel goes a long way to remedying this with a glorious mixture of lesbian love, period detail and a suitably complex scandal in the middle to bring our heroines together. Was delighted to find it.

Shelves: queer, fiction
Unfortunately entirely lacks the charm of Highwayman.

Nice commute read, but overall entirely forgettable. The characters are just too flat and not developed enough to pull this story off, which is really unfortunate.

I'm a sucker for a great regency & even more so when it is f/f. Barbara Davies really channels Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen in this novelette. This is my third reread; wishe there were more!
