Let me begin by saying that this book is only for the extreme Incaphile, for it is dry, dusty, and exhaustively detailed. But boring as the minutiae are in themselves, they accumulate into a definitive deconstruction (and reconstruction) of Inca history. To help explain this, let me backtrack....
