Green leaves overhead, a
Rug of green underfoot,
And the air between

Beyond our
Upstairs window
Dead-looking branches
Suddenly spring to life.
Egrets, ducks, and
Geese nest in the marsh
Grass, waiting for their
Shells to hatch
