Sure, Deepak Chopra gets bashed for pooping out one self help book after another, thinking he is an expert on every field. But you know what? Like many readers, I too bought this simply-written book at a point in life when things looked a little bleach. And like it did with many, it pulled me through as well.
His experiences as a doctor, coach and Indian combined with empowering examples guarantee a few eye openers. I was born and raised in a western country and therefore read his take on spiritu

I found this book to be a very enjoyable read, but I gave it four stars instead of five simply because it fell short of the promise that I saw in the title. A light reading book with some good insights from various disciplines from his experience as a physician to metaphysical principles and wisdom. Has case examples and personal examples woven into the basic premise that we make our life what it is and have the power to change our life if we desire.

I loved the book. Simple and with many great truths. A very positive, but penetrating, book.

This book takes allows you to explore the possibility that we make ourselves sick, and also that we have the power to heal ourselves. Heavily influenced by eastern thought. Good writing.

This is another book I've had forever, but have hardly looked at. I've tried reading it at times, but just couldn't get into it. Maybe someday.

Mind expansion is more fullfilling than wallet expansion, and in fact is the precurser. I love dancing on the edge!
