My name is Rachel Clancy. Forty-six years ago, life as humanity understood it ended. Armageddon. Well, that’s what we call it, anyway. What other term works as well to describe the day the Vampires and Werewolves slaughtered nearly all of humanity?

~Book Two of the Warrior Series~

When Rachel Clancy turned sixteen, she inadvertently changed the lives of everyone around her.

I still love this series! Awesome book!

In the last book, we learned Jason was a jerk for leaving Rachel, we also learned that Chad and Deacon had a thing for Rachel, even though her heart was broken, they both decided to keep a close eye on her.

This book takes place 6 months later - Rachel still gets a lump in her chest whenever she thinks of Jason, but she is starting to move on. She is finding herself drawn to Deacon's witty sense of humor, and Chad’s sense of security . She knows her life w

I got this Arc copy for an honest review and I thought that this story has amazing characters and it was fascinating to read this paranormal fantasy book ,so I gave it 5 stars.

I was impressed with the fascinating scene descriptions and the continue of the twistsand turns in the plot that you didn't expect. It also had lots of action and I thought that the author did a very good job, for I thought her writing was amazing and such a great imagination that I enjoy reading her books so much.

Rachel is not like any other 16 year old girl that you know. Instead of worrying about what she wears, what movie to see or how she looks ,she has to worry about vampires and if she will survive for another day. Set 6 months from the first book the small community is struggling to survive day to day. Letting go of her hurt and opening her heart to new love is scary but its time to move on. The attacks are increasing and the warrior council is set in the past and not looking to the future. There ...more

The Warrior Book2
By Rebecca Royce

I feel this is a gift for me to read and review. I am a Fan of Rebecca Royce all of her books I have read have been Keepers the kind I intend to read over and over. They will be a classic in their genre. This is a very Spectacular series. The storyline is AWESOME, ENGAGING, HEART STOPPING and so FASCINATING you can't stop turning the pages, The characters are mind blowing, exciting, rip- roaring action fighters, thrilling scene descriptions and this just th

In this one I must say I started it with anticipation not knowing what to expect next because of this being so different that in itself is refreshing. Rachel and others are now at that point where it is six months later with things not the same anymore but preparing for what is coming the best they can. She finally gets her tattoo which is significant because of what it is. Her and Chad will also be put on a mission going for some help but not until after his sister's turn at her coming of age. ...more

I was so excited I didn't have to wait long to read this book!

I gotta say (if I didn't already before), that I love the lead character! Rachel is the eye of a storm. She can remain calm and THINKING when there is chaos all around. I know she’s still a teenager, but she’s got a good head on her shoulders. She’s been trained as a Warrior, so I completely respect the fact that Rebecca wrote Rachel to make decisions the way a fighter would, but that in no means makes her less feminine nor emotionl

I'm feeling so ambivalent about this book and this series. The storyline itself is really interesting and I'm curious to see where it goes and how it ends and how everything is connected - Looking forward into the series, it sounds as if things go sideways for Rachel and Jason (does he become her enemy? If so, why and how?), and that yet another "destined" suitor comes forth (Seriously, how many guys are going to be fighting over Rachel?). On the other hand, I find aspects of the writing severel ...more

Ms. Royce has the Midas Touch with the pen. Forty Six years ago, life changed as we know it and humans went below ground to survive destruction by Monsters, there habitat was called Genesis. Driven-The Warrior-Book 2- An enthralling story of adventure and romance. I adore, series, you get acquainted with all the amazing characters, and the characters in this series, are sultry, powerful, and full of surprises....

This story features Rachel Clancy a clever, audacious, 16 year old genetically born Warrior; Jason, a strapping wolf-shifter, Deacon, a gorgeous Warrior and the voice of reason, Chad, a buffed Warrior; all crave Rachel's affection.

Driven continues the story of Rachel and the fight for her life to survive after the apocalypse. She is a warrior, trained from birth because she has a specific gene that makes her sense the monsters she has to kill. Her world is flipped upside down when she meets a werewolf, one of the monsters she is trained to kill, but instead of killing him, she falls in love. I'm not even sure what to say! Speechless! I have a love/ hate attitude for this book. I'm a wreck.

This is the 2nd book in The Warrior series and the fight between the humans and vampires and werewolves continue. Six months down the road from where Rachel left off she is now stronger and more capable of fighting. After ousting the Icahns in book 1 they are more than determined to end her. But her quick whit and thinking outside the box is not to be reckoned with. I love how much she has grown si

If you liked book one you will absolutely love Driven book 2. A very well written 2nd book in this series that takes you deeper into the family lives and loves and death of the people of Genesis. Trying to find the difference between good werewolves that make great allies and the bad werewolves that want to kill or enslave you. The twists and turns of this story leave you wondering if anyone will survive and how you can overcome betrayal of someone you love. A most definite need to read book her ...more

I was given an ARC by the author for an honest review.

I have to say that i really love this series...

it gets better and bettter.

Fast paced with lots of action and twists and turns in the plot that you don't expect and all wrapped up in an emotional bundle we experience.

Its an awesome read.

I have to say that it reminds me a bit of "Hunger Games" and "Divergent" but in a PNR version yet i really am hooked up on it and can't wait for the next book to come out.

If you haven't read this series then i

A story that will have you on the edge of your seat waiting for more.
Rachel kinda has it all. Her dad is almost out of his stupor with alcohol and a little lively lately. She is dating her best friends oldest brother now that Jason is gone. Even though she still feels conflicted about it all. And each mission seems to make things less awkward. But training newbies is always going to hard when it people you know. But when out on a mission to get help from a neighboring town called Liberty, gettin

After the first book, I honestly don't know what posessed me to keep reading. Partly, I think, I was a bit curious about how the "Love Pentagon" was going to work itself out...

And oh, how it worked itself out. Teen drama galore. There wasn't really a lot to this book besides the big question, "Who will Rachel end up with?" The thing is, they're all unfortunate choices. This is mainly because their only personality trait is to adore Rachel. Oh, we hear from her about how they're sensitive or toug

How much heartache and tragedy can a teenage girl take?
Like how many licks to the center of a Tootsie Pop, the Universe is determined to find out with Rachel Clancy! Lots of heartache, tragedy, a sprinkling of hope and several knights in shining armor moments dominate this second volume of The Warrior series. An Entertaining and very worthwhile read with characters that will continue to haunt you long after you are done and leave you sitting on pins and needles waiting for the next volume!

Received the book for an honest review. Driven is the second book in the Warrior series. We meet up with Rachel six months after she had gone to the surface on a mission. We follow Rachel and the others as they try to survive in this new world and prepare for whatever is headed their way. Even though there is a lot going on in this book it is easy to follow. There won't be any spoilers here. All I can say is it is an enjoyable roller coaster of emotions. Can't wait to see what Rachel if faced wi ...more

I was impressed with Initiation from the start. This dystopian series with the supernatural twist is an addicting and thrilling adventure. Never have I experienced a novel with this these two qualities, but this amazing author has proven the risk a success. Driven knocked me off my feet. This was a good followup in the Warrior Book series, I loved the first book! The end of Initiation left me heartbroken with Jason being out of the picture and Rachel being so distraught. Their romance kind of just stopped dead in it's tracks, and I was dying to see them back together!! I tore right into Driven hoping to see so much more of them in the midst of the chaos their world was in, but it wasn't at all what I expected...

Rachel Clancy. I can't express how much I love her. She hasn't had the easiest life, but doesn't let it get her down. She's strong yet vulnerable, hard yet loveable and best of all, she's got morals and sticks to them.
This book has action, drama, teenage angst and romance. One of my favourite things about this series is that Rachel doesn't back down on her morals and ethics. She's 16 and doesn't want to have sex. Even when she's getting attention from 2 of the hottest guys out there, she sticks

Rebecca, honestly! Why do you have to be so ruthless? You know what I'm talking about!

Another strong installment in the series. It's not as intense as the first one, and I do believe Rachel is much more angsty in this book, but the plot is fast-paced and gripping.

This time Rachel has to go on a journey with Chad to Liberty where they will have to ask for reinforcements to protect Genesis from the imminent underground invasion.

The journey as you can guess doesn't go as planned and soon the coupl

Book #2 and it just keeps getting better...
Lots of emotions, drama, and action in this book. Unexpected table-turning twists and turns.

"Rachel Clancy can't help but feel something is coming, and it's something bad that she's not sure can be stopped. But she's unsure about everything and dealing with physical and emotional scars from the past 6 months is making her that way."

Happy reading : )

Awesome book!! Rebecca knows how to write an excellent story. I am waiting on the edge of my seat for the next book. The only reason I didn't read it in one sitting is because I had to sleep & work. :) the story continues with Rachel Clancy & her friends & family. Add in some good & bad werewolves & a few thousand bad vamps & you have a great book! Rebecca please keep them coming!

Wow! How do I put Awesome book read it now into the perfect words. I have read a lot of books YTD!! None of them have pulled me in and made me so drawn to the characters.
